2026 Graphic Novel Releases: Four Riso-Printed Books Published by Inky Fruit Co
Hello from Inky Fruit Co.! We’re a queer-owned small press, run out of an itty bitty studio space in Cardiff, Wales. We make handmade, risograph-printed books, and just love an interesting alternative comic format.
2026 is our first year of releases, we’re delighted to announce four stunning zines and graphic novels releasing throughout the year. We’re so excited to share these wonderful artists and their stories with you! Here’s what you can expect to see from us.
Glass Children by Ellis Benji Bertram

Locked in a cycle of expectation and isolation, twin princesses are finally forced to fight for their future. Raised by the Hands of the Gentle throne, one sister has grown fragile and protected. The other, neglected, has become lonely and resilient. There is only one seat on the throne.
A pair of parallel perspectives exploring disability, vulnerability, and childhood responsibility, in an eerie sci-fi setting. Through a stunning dos-à-dos binding, Bertram’s debut comic uses form and colour to juxtapose the lives of two sisters trapped in a shared tragedy.

Tadaima: I'm Home by Edie Woolf
Have you ever called a place "home," even if you only lived there for a short time? Three months in Japan as an anxious, colourful foreigner brings challenges of self-reflection, friendships and joyous comfort.

Tadaima: I'm Home is the definitive, deluxe expansion of Edie Woolf's celebrated 2023 autobiographical travel comic, Tadaima. Originally conceived during a three-month artist residency at Studio Kura in Itoshima, Japan, the comic served as a deeply introspective diary exploring isolation, independence, and the search for personal comfort. Three years and an additional trip to Japan later, Woolf revisits this transitional era with sensitive reflections on how our understanding of "home" shifts over time. This upgraded deluxe edition integrates the original diary comics with brand-new reflections, additional artwork, mini-comics, and inserts. It stands as a beautiful, comprehensive celebration of cultural immersion and self-discovery.

Additionally to these beautiful creations by those wonderful artists, we’ll be reprinting Shri Gunasekara’s Runner, which was released last November in a very limited edition! We’ll be making a few tweaks and re-releasing this June with a brand new shiny cover.
All of these releases are in honour of our late risograph printer, Gladys 🙏 Rest in peace. We still can’t believe you managed to print Runner.
Watch this space!! These books are going to be really cool, and we can’t wait to show you.
All the best guys :)
